CYBERINFRASTRUCTURE

North Dakota Cyber Team

AIHEC, North Dakota State University, and the North Dakota TCUs Work on Building IT Capacity.

AIHEC is partnering with Sitting Bull College (SBC), Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College (NHSC), United Tribes Technical College (UTTC), Turtle Mountain Community College (TMCC), Cankdeska Cikana Community College (CCCC), and North Dakota State University (NDSU) to develop the foundation of a North Dakota research infrastructure that supports the current STEM research and education programs at the participating institutions and provides the framework for long-term collaborative research program development. The ND Cyber Team project has both technical and academic/research components. The technical team involves the IT organizations at the participating institutions and is focused on build IT capacity and sharing best practices in areas such as cybersecurity and network management that are necessary to support STEM research and education. The academic/research team is engaging faculty and students in research and education activities, particularly those requiring access to research computing resources.
