Located in northern Minnesota on the Fond Du Lac Indian Reservation, Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College (FdLTCC), founded in 1987, offers two-year associate degrees and certificates across a wide range of program areas for more than 2,700 students enrolled in classes each year. Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and through a state-tribal partnership, FdLTCC is part of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, a statewide system of community colleges, state universities and technical colleges. Academic credits obtained through this system can be transferred to other colleges within the system.
Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College believes in the advantages of a quality education and offers all students, regardless of demographic background, the opportunity to learn in a comfortable and diverse environment. The College has made the commitment to provide excellent teaching, student services, and college activities in a positive, friendly, and respectful manner. The goal is to provide a well-rounded experience for students so they can be successful in their educational endeavors.
Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College was Minnesota’s first tribal college and is the only combined tribal college and state community college in the United States. This blending makes FdLTCC different from all other colleges and provides higher education opportunities for its communities in a welcoming, culturally diverse environment.
