Chief Dull Knife College (CDKC), located in Lame Deer on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in southeastern Montana, enjoys full transfer agreements with the colleges and universities of the Montana University System, other Tribal Colleges within Montana, and college and universities in both North and South Dakota. Also the College offers two additional programs for an associate’s degree of applied science and one certificate program for students wishing to enter the workforce immediately.
The College has one main building, which houses administration, faculty offices, cafeteria facilities, bookstore, a learning center and sufficient classroom space to serve 300 students. Specialized laboratory facilities include a science laboratory, two computing labs, and a distance learning center. In addition, separate facilities house the library, information technology, cultural center, the early childhood learning center, the adult education literacy center, the technical skills center, student activities center, student learning center, student lounge and Vocational Rehabilitation Center.
Chief Dull Knife College is a community based, land grant, and tribally controlled community college established to provide quality educational opportunities to residents of the Northern Cheyenne Reservation and surrounding communities. Inspired by Chief Dull Knife’s determination, the College’s mission is to provide Northern Cheyenne culturally influenced education through quality life-long learning opportunities.
